What Are You Doing For The Oscars?

Are you doing anything special for today's awards

Are you doing anything special for today’s awards

For many moviegoers, the Academy Awards is the biggest event of the year.  Since I’ve asked you who should win at this year’s Oscars and what are the the biggest snubs, this week my question is what are you doing for the Oscars?

I don’t usually stay through the entire ceremony and just watch the winners’ speeches the very next day, but I do see most of the show.  I try my own commentary and usually order in pizza.

But what will you be doing?

  1. Unfortunately I have to work until 10, so I’ll only see the ending of it. That might be better because I remember last year the show was starting to try my patience, and I didn’t even watch the whole thing. This is only my second time watching it so I don’t have any rituals yet. I’m probably just work on my post for the next day while I’m watching.

    • Yeah, yesterday I came only about five minutes before the show started. They really need to shorten the length. Thanks for commenting.

  2. I don’t watch awards shows anymore so I’ll be…watching movies or writing instead? I’ll find out the winners tomorrow and if anything absolutely fabulous happened, it’ll be online somewhere. 🙂

    • I feel I shouldn’t watch the Oscars due to my usual frustration, but I keep doing so every year. Thanks for commenting.

  3. I will just watch it normally. No parties or anything. But I will certainly be watching it.

    • That’s what I usually do. Thanks for commenting.

  4. I’ll be sleeping! No way I can stay up that late with work the following morning!

    • Haha, after seeing the Oscars I almost fell asleep at a few parts.

  5. I’ll be doing this!!! Join the fun!!

  6. Sleeping probably 😀

  7. Despite being in the UK and it being full of films I have no interest in, I will stay up watching hoping Bobby D shocks the world and wins, or failing that to see my girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence win 🙂

    • I was disappointed De Niro lost, but Waltz was pretty great.
