Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Well, it’s Christmas Eve, but since I’ll be busy today and tomorrow, I’d like to wish you all an early merry Christmas and hope you have a great holiday season.  I’m planning to have a movie marathon this week, watching some films that are great for for this time of the year like The Shining and Fargo plus some others.  I’m hoping to make my own top 10 list soon.

So thanks to all my readers for following.  And to keep with the holiday spirit, I thought I’d share my favorite Christmas song: Bruce Springsteen’s cover of “Santa Clause is Coming to Town.”  You can see it below.

  1. Merry Christmas!

  2. Happy Holidays! May all your favorite movies do well!

  3. Merry Christmas, Charles (and everyone else who sees the comment)!

Just a note, you may have wanted to embed the video starting at 1:15. Unless, of course, putting on Santa hats amid the cheering had significance I just didn’t notice. 😉 Still, it’s a great rendition. I really do enjoy Bruce Springsteen (“Born to Run” is on my mental playlist, “Songs I Love to Death but Haven’t Listened to for at Least Eighteen Months for Some Unexplained Reason”).

Was he speaking French in the beginning and the middle? It kind of sounded like it, but he was also slurring his words, like he was drunk or something, so I couldn’t tell. Sounded something like <> (Do you/Are you [something] Merry Christmas?)

Hope you enjoy re-watching (I hope it’s not your first viewing) Fargo and The Shining. I always forget The Shining takes place in the winter…

I’ve scheduled all my reviews/posts ahead of time (a post per day for the entire month of December, in fact). I will, of course, be busy tomorrow in just about every possible way, but I have a rambling about Les Misérables going up…in French. I kind of hinted at it on Twitter, and there is an English translation. Hope you see Les Misérables over the holidays, too, my friend.

    Again, happy holidays!

    • Thanks!

I’ll try to embed the video later. Glad you’re a fellow Springsteen fan as well (Born to Run is my favorite song). I actually didn’t see the entire clip before.

I’ve seen both The Shining and Fargo before, but they’re always great to watch around this time of the year.

I’ll be busy as well. I’m planning to see Django Unchained this week and hopefully may go to a showing of Zero Dark Thirty. I usually try to watch a movie and then write a review when they’re fresh in my mind. Hope you have a merry Christmas!

      • Zero Dark Thirty doesn’t open near me until the wide release, which is January 11th. D: Make sure to let me know how it is! Haven’t read a single non-rave review yet, actually.

  4. Merry Christmas! I hope yours is absolutely magical! 🙂

  5. I quite enjoy the Christmas music being played all over, even during my travels. Merry Christmas to you!
