Trailer Analysis: Django Unchained (Trailer 2)

If you’re a Quentin Tarantino fan, you’re most likely very excited for the director’s new work, Django Unchained.  And the new trailer released this week is probably going to increase the hype.  Django‘s one of my most awaited films of the year, and seeing Tarantino’s track record, it doesn’t look like it will disappoint.

Tarantino has stated before that he’s a fan of the spaghetti western (The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly is his favorite movie), and Django looks like a homage to it.  Jamie Fox, Christopher Waltz, and Leonardo DiCaprio all look fantastic in the movie.  On a side note, I really liked that few second cameo of Jonah Hill in a scene that reminded me of the Coen brothers’ O Brother, Where Art Thou.

Django comes out this Christmas.

  1. God I know that I said I was very excited for Skyfall, but I’m possibly as stoked for this! It’s a pity Gatsby isn’t coming out this year anymore otherwise I would have a completely awesome two months to look forward to!
Also, as great as everyone looks in these trailers, I’m really excited for DiCaprio’s role.

    • I’m excited for this as well. DiCaprio looks great in his role and Tarantino hasn’t disappointed me before.

  2. I was wondering when we’d see Hill. Yep, can’t wait for Django to be released in theaters (pun intended) 😀

    • Very punny! (Sorry, that’s a really awful pun).

I’m wondering how big of a role Jonah Hill will have in Django Unchained. The film looks really good. Thanks for commenting.

  3. Very excited for this one. Leo and Tarantino should be an interesting match.

    • DiCaprio looks great in this one and I haven’t been disappointed by Tarantino before. Thanks for commenting.
