The Tag Blogathon

For one of my answers, I name Breaking Bad as the best TV show

Blogathons, they sure come up fast.  Alexander over at Cinemaniac Reviews tagged me for a new blogathon.  The rules are:

1. Each person tagged must post 11 things about themselves.
2. They must also answer the 11 questions the ‘tagger’ has set for them.
3. They must create 11 more questions to ask bloggers they have decided to tag.
4. They must then choose 11 bloggers with less than 200 followers and tag them in their post.
5. These lucky bloggers must then be told.
6. There are no tag backs

So let’s get started.

Eleven things about myself:

1. My favorite TV show right now is Breaking Bad.  Some honorable mentions would be LouieParks and RecThe Daily Show, and Mad Men.

2. I have always been and most likely will be afraid of bees.

3. Night of the Living Dead didn’t scare me at all but just the idea of zombies gave me nightmares for weeks.

4. Coleman Francis gets my vote as the worst filmmaker of all time.

5. I think Peter Jackson’s remake of King Kong is better than the Lord of the Rings films.

6. Despite my goals, I still haven’t seen a Werner Herzog picture.  I have no good excuse.

7. The funniest thing I have ever seen was a short in one of the old “Treehouse of Horror” Simpsons episodes where Homer invents a toaster that can travel through time.

8. Baz Luhrmann is a director who I’ve never understood the popularity of.

9. My favorite animals are dogs.  I’ve always been a dog person.

10. The first movie that really made me love movies was 2001: A Space Odyssey.

11. Bill Murray is my favorite comedian.

Now the questions I have to answer.

1. What is your name?

2. What is your quest?

To write movie and TV reviews, news, and analysis posts.

3. What is your favorite color?

4. Psycho or Vertigo?

5. Fargo or The Big Lebowski?

Fargo, though I haven’t seen The Big Lebowski yet.

6. Peanut butter or Nutella?

Peanut butter.

7. Harry Potter or The Hunger Games (books, movies, either is fine)?

To be honest, I’m not really a fan of either.  I like The Hunger Games movie, despite the shakey cam, but didn’t love it.  And though I’ve seen all the Harry Potter movies, none have been really great (I think most of them are good but not past that).

8. Mel Brooks or Woody Allen?

Woody Allen.

9. James Bond or Jason Bourne?

James Bond

10. Alien or Blade Runner?

Blade Runner

11. Do you feel lucky?

Yeah, pretty much.

Well, now I have to ask 11 questions.  Here we go.

1. The Sopranos or The Wire?

2. The Simpsons or South Park?

3. 2001 or E. T.?

4. What film do you love but don’t have the urge to see very often?

5. Is there a star you have particular dislike for?

6. What recent movie you think in years to come will be hailed as a classic?

7. What is the best film you ever got to see in theaters?

8. Do you think Blu-Ray matters?

9. What movie was the biggest disappointment for you?

10. If you could be any movie or TV character, who would it be?

11. Who is your favorite actor/actress?

Okay, now for the nominations.  A lot of bloggers I know have already received a tag so here are some ones that haven’t.
