At noon on last Sunday, I spent a half an hour yelling at my computer, flipping through schedules, checking my dates, and getting my credit card number. But by the end of that half an hour, it was all totally worth it.
The reason? I’ve just bought tickets for the upcoming New York FIlm Festival, thus year celebrating its 50th Anniversary. Back in April I got to go to the Tribeca Film Festival, so I’m excited to attend another one.
I have tickets to see Amour, which won the Cannes Film Festival, and Hyde Park on Hudson, which stars Bill Murray. I was trying to buy tickets for David Chase’s Not Fade Away, but the price was $75 each so I backed away. The NYFF will start up on September 28th, and I’ll be sure to post my thoughts on it and reviews.
