Trailer Analysis: The Master (Final Trailer)

I’ve talked about Paul Thomas Anderson’s The Master on two other occasion for Trailer Analysis’s, one for the teaser and one for the first trailer.  Based on those two, I thought The Master has a good chance at being the best film of the year.  The final trailer, which came out, makes me even more anticipated for this movie.

There’s been a lot of speculation on whether The Master is about scientology or not, with Philip Seymour Hoffman playing the Ron L. Hubbard role.  Kind of ironically, the first person Anderson showed the movie to was none other than the world’s most famous scientologist Tom Cruise.  There hasn’t been a clear answer given out or not, but I’m pretty sure it is.

I don’t want to repeat myself, but I still am very excited.  The Master will debut September 14th and will be given wider release on the 21st.

  1. I am too excited for this film. It’s on my Movie Bucket List.

    • I’m very excited about it as well. It’s coming very soon, so I’ll keep my eye on it.
