Add to your summer watch list “Manos: The Hands of Fate”

RiffTrax will take on the worst film of all time in August. They previously riffed it on MST3K.

Way back in April, I wrote about a small little film called Manos: The Hands of Fate, which I declared the worst film of all time.  I said “Manos: The Hands of Fate was intended to be a horror movie.  But the fact is nothing in the movie is remotely scary, but just stupid.”

Mystery Science Theater 3000 famously riffed the film on the fourth season finale, which remains one of the show’s best episodes.  And a few months ago former MST3K performers Mike Nelson, Kevin Murphy, and Bill Corbett announced they will be taking on Manos again.  Now, a date has been set: August 27th and you can buy your tickets June 8th at RiffTrax.com.

Their riff of the film will be screened in movie theaters nation wide, and I definitely recommend it to anyone interested in seeing the film.  It’s sure to be a laugh riot, and I may be excited to see it as I am with The Dark Knight Rises.

  1. MST3K 4EVA!!!

    • It’s a great show that most people haven’t seen. I always recommend it to friends, and I share your enthusiasm for Manos.

  2. Haha, spectacular!

    • Manos is one of those films that just screams awfulness. I can’t wait to see the RiffTrax show for it.
