Editor’s Note: Mad Men and other TV news

Last Sunday, Mad Men came back to AMC after a very brief 17 month hiatus (that’s sarcasm by the way).  I haven’t been able to view the entire episode, but from what I’ve seen, it’s pretty much standard Mad Men, meaning that it’s the best thing on television right now.

Next week, Game of Thrones and The Killing come back.  I’ve only been able to see some of Game of Thrones, and I’ve really liked it.   The problem is that I decided to read the books before watching the show (which I don’t do very often).

As for The Killing, I decided to never watch it again.  I’m serious.  The finale was such an insult to television, and the producers have further insulted their fans by announcing that Rosie’s murderer won’t be announced until the end of the second season.  Maybe I’ll tune in to see who killed Rosie, but I refuse to keep in touch with the show.

And I’d also like to announce that I’ll start focusing on TV more.  I’ll try to keep a weekly review for Mad Men, plus more TV news and analysis.  Thanks for reading!
