Jimmy Fallon to do Live Show after the Superbowl

NBC is pumping up for the Superbowl  They put The Voice, the mega-hit reality TV show (on NBC standards) after the Superbowl (a slot that probably should have gone to a show like Parks and Recreation or Community) and is putting Smash the day after.  But now, NBC has announced that Jimmy Fallon will be doing a live show in Indianapolis after the Superbowl XLVI.

I like Fallon and feel he’s under appreciated as a late night comedian.  I don’t think he’s on the top tire with Jon Stewart or Stephen Colbert, but he’s probably right now the strongest late night comic on network.  And he does have many successful comic bits, such as “Thank You Notes” and his “Hash-tag Tweets”, where he asks questions and tells the funniest answers on air.

Anyway, I’m pretty pumped for the Superbowl myself, since the Giants are in.  I hope they will beat the Patriots again this year.  Here’s a poll below for which team would you like to see win.  So here’s looking forward to a good Superbowl (and ads)!
